Wash My Can provides professional cleaning, sanitizing, deodorizing, and related maintenance services for residential trash cans, recycling cans, and other approved waste containers.
Services may include:
The exact services included, number of cans, frequency of service, and price will be identified at the time of booking or in the applicable service agreement.
Wash My Can does not guarantee that every stain, discoloration, odor, residue, or substance can be completely removed.
Cleaning restores cleanliness as reasonably possible; it does not restore or repair damaged, deteriorated, or defective cans.
To allow Wash My Can to safely and efficiently perform service, the Customer agrees to:
Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in the service being skipped, rescheduled, or subject to a missed-service or rescheduling fee.
Wash My Can reserves the right to refuse service or charge an additional fee for cans containing materials that are outside the normal scope of can cleaning.
Examples include:
Wash My Can is not a waste-removal company and does not accept hazardous waste or other prohibited materials.
We may refuse to service any can that presents an unreasonable health, environmental, equipment, or employee-safety risk.
Trash and recycling cans are frequently exposed to extreme heat, weather, heavy use, chemicals, sharp objects, freezing conditions, and mechanical handling.
The Customer understands that cans may have pre-existing:
Wash My Can is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, defective construction, normal wear and tear, or deterioration that becomes apparent during or after cleaning.
If Wash My Can identifies an obvious pre-existing condition before service, we may photograph or document the condition and may decline to clean the can.
Wash My Can makes reasonable efforts to provide a thorough professional cleaning.
However, cleaning results may vary depending upon:
Certain stains, discoloration, odors, rust-like marks, adhesives, hardened materials, and other substances may be permanent.
Wash My Can does not guarantee that a can will look “brand new” after cleaning.
Wash My Can operates primarily through scheduled service routes.
Your exact service time may vary depending on:
Customers may receive text message, email, or other notifications regarding upcoming service.
Unless specifically guaranteed in writing, a scheduled date does not constitute a guaranteed exact arrival time.
If a Customer's can is:
Wash My Can may be unable to provide service.
The Customer may be charged a missed-service or rescheduling fee if applicable to the Customer's service plan.
Wash My Can may also reschedule the cleaning for the next available route date.
Customers may cancel or reschedule a scheduled cleaning by contacting Wash My Can through the approved contact methods provided on our website or customer portal.
Unless otherwise stated in your service agreement:
Residential customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
Late cancellations, repeated rescheduling, or missed appointments may be subject to a reasonable service or trip fee.
Wash My Can may waive a fee at its discretion when circumstances reasonably justify doing so.
Customers who enroll in a recurring cleaning plan authorize Wash My Can to provide services according to the selected service frequency.
Recurring plans may include monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or other schedules offered by Wash My Can.
Minimum service commitment. Subscription pricing (Monthly, Bi-Monthly, and Quarterly plans) is discounted pricing that requires a minimum of three (3) completed services to qualify. If a Customer cancels a recurring plan before completing three (3) services, the Customer will be charged the difference between the discounted subscription rate already paid for each completed service and Wash My Can's standard one-time service rate for those same services. This difference is due at the time of cancellation. Once the Customer has completed the minimum three (3) services, the Customer may cancel future recurring services by providing the notice described in Section 10 (Recurring Billing).
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable service agreement:
Wash My Can will not intentionally continue charging a Customer after a valid cancellation has taken effect.
We offer optional recurring subscription plans for our trash can cleaning services (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or other intervals as listed on the Site during booking). These plans provide scheduled, ongoing cleanings at a discounted rate compared to one-time services.
Billing Cycle. Your first payment is charged at signup and covers your initial service period. After that, all recurring subscription charges are billed on the 1st of each month for the upcoming service month, regardless of the date you signed up.
Example: If you subscribe on March 15, you are charged on March 15 for your initial period. Your next charge (and each charge after that) occurs on April 1, then May 1, and so on, until you cancel.
Unless you cancel in accordance with these Terms, your subscription automatically renews each month. The payment method on file is charged on the 1st for the then-current subscription fee plus any applicable taxes. Fees are charged in advance for the upcoming service month.
If the 1st falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the charge may process on the next business day. We may retry a failed charge a reasonable number of times.
Pricing and Changes. Subscription pricing is displayed on the Site or confirmed during booking and may vary by plan, frequency, number of cans, or location. We reserve the right to change subscription fees or introduce new charges at any time. We will provide reasonable notice (via email, text, or Site posting) of any material price increase at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the subscription after such changes constitutes acceptance.
Automatic Renewal Notice. For any subscription that automatically renews, we will provide notice of the upcoming automatic renewal as required by applicable law. This notice will clearly disclose that your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel, the length of the renewal period, the amount (or range) of the renewal charge and billing frequency, and how to cancel.
Failed Payments and Remedies. If a recurring payment fails (e.g., due to expired card, insufficient funds, or other issues), we may attempt to reprocess it. You authorize us to retry failed charges a reasonable number of times. Persistent failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your subscription until payment is received. You remain responsible for any outstanding balances, and we may add reasonable collection fees or interest on overdue amounts as permitted by law.
Cancellation of Recurring Plans. After the minimum service commitment described in Section 9 (Recurring Service) has been satisfied, to cancel a recurring subscription, contact us at least 7–14 days before your next scheduled billing date using the contact information listed on this website or through your account on the Site (if available). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, no prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. After cancellation, any remaining scheduled cleanings in the current period will be completed unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations requested before the minimum service commitment has been satisfied are governed by Section 9, including the rate-difference charge described there.
Refunds for Recurring Plans. All subscription payments are non-refundable except in cases of service non-performance due to our fault (e.g., repeated missed appointments). Refunds, if issued, will be at our discretion and processed to your original payment method.
Customers agree to pay the price displayed or otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking.
Prices may vary based on:
Payment may be processed through a third-party payment processor or customer-management platform.
For recurring customers, a valid payment method may be required to remain on file.
If a payment fails, Wash My Can may suspend future service until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Examples may include:
When reasonably possible, Wash My Can will notify the Customer before performing work that would result in a significant additional charge.

Wastewater will be handled, recovered, transported, treated, recycled, or disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements and Wash My Can's operating procedures.
Customers may not instruct or require Wash My Can employees to discharge wastewater in a manner that violates applicable law, regulations, local requirements, or company safety procedures.

Wash My Can is not responsible for delays caused by unsecured animals.
If a Customer believes that a can was not adequately cleaned, the Customer should contact Wash My Can within 48 hours of service.
Wash My Can will review the concern and, when appropriate, may provide a complimentary re-clean.
The service guarantee does not cover:
The primary remedy for a legitimate cleaning-quality complaint is re-service rather than a cash refund.
Unless otherwise required by law or specifically stated in a service agreement, completed services are generally non-refundable.
If Wash My Can is responsible for a service failure, the company may, at its discretion:
