Curbside can cleaning for Delray Beach
Delray mixes downtown bungalows, gated communities west of I-95, and older single-family neighborhoods, and in the Florida heat they all share one problem. A can left in the sun for a week grows bacteria, odor, and the flies and maggots that follow. We take care of that on a set schedule so you never think about it.
We work around the City of Delray Beach and your hauler's pickup, cleaning cans right at the curb after collection. You don't need to be home, and we put every can back where you keep it.
Looking for Delray Beach's official pickup and disposal details? City of Delray Beach Sanitation Division page has the residential garbage and recycling pickup schedule, bulk waste guidelines, battery and household hazardous waste drop-off locations, cardboard and paper recycling sites, and phone numbers for questions or missed pickups.
Live just outside the city limits, in unincorporated Palm Beach County? The Solid Waste Authority Pickup Schedule page has a My Service Collection Days tool to find your garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk pickup days, plus holiday collection information. The same site's Pickup Guidelines explain cart, bulk item and recycling set-out rules, and its Pickup Issues page covers what to do if something is not collected.

Why Delray Beach cans take a beating
Salt air, afternoon humidity, and full-sun curbs are hard on trash cans in Delray Beach. Around downtown and the streets off Atlantic Avenue, many homes keep cans in a side yard or beside the garage, where moisture lingers and a warm can can go from mildly funky to unbearable in a matter of days.
Delray also has a large seasonal population, and a can that sits idle through a hot summer is one of the worst offenders. A one-time cleaning is a simple reset when you get back, and a recurring plan keeps it from building up in the first place.
